| Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley started the band KISS in 1972. Known for their dramatic costumes and make-up, the live shows were a complete success and contributed greatly the band becoming the best live act in the US. Their most popular song, "Rock and Roll all Nite" became an anthem for a decade of rock lovers. Gene Simmons went on to do a solo album which included guests Cher, Bob Seger, and Donna Summer. |
