Joe Strummer originally started out with The Clash and in 1975 they toured with the Sex Pistols on the Anarchy tour. In 1977 they were signed to CBS Records and in three weekends they recorded the album "The Clash in London", which Rolling Stone magazine called, "the definitive punk album". Joe Strummer separated from The Clash in 1986 and went on to become an actor and producer.
