| From the very start, the Sex Pistols were a band constantly in chaos and violence. During the 100 Club's Punk Rock Festival a girl was blinded by a smashed glass that involved then-fan Sid Vicious. Shortly after, the group signed with EMI and released their single "Anarchy in The UK". While promoting the work, they subjected a television host to a barrage of curses and profanity. Dropped from EMI, they signed with A&M who dropped them a week later. Rotten left the group in 1978 after a disastrous American tour. |
