Robin Zander quickly became a heartthrob when he joined Cheap Trick as lead singer along with guitarist Rick Nielsen, bassist Tom Petersson, and drummer Bun E. Carlos in 1974. Cheap Trick has played and toured with some very popular bands like Queen, Kiss, and Journey. After being very popular in the 1970's, they fizzled out by the 1990's and Zander began a solo career. His solo album in 1993 featured contributions from Rick Nielsen, Tom Petersson, Mike Campbell, Stevie Nicks, Dave Stewart, and Dr. John. Cheap trick has since reunited to play several times during 1996 Lalapalooza concerts following their release of their 4-CD box set.
