Steven Tyler and Joe Perry met fortuitously in a New Hampshire ice cream parlour. They formed the band Aerosmith in 1970, and have enjoyed immense success for over three decades. Initially compared with The Rolling Stones, they soon gained their own persona, and after a short break-up in the early 80's, the band got back together in 1984 and recorded several more unforgettable albums. In 1998 the band achieved their first-ever number one hit, "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" from the album Armageddon.
